I was born and raised in the “Heart of Dixie” , Mobile, AL, but decided at the age of 21 to pack my bags and move west to the Old Pueblo, Tucson, AZ. After completing college in December 2004, I was hired on as a design consultant at California Closets. I spent the next 9 years learning the fundamentals of space planning, researching and integrating the latest products into each design, and the “art” of sales and forming true relationships with each client. In 2012 I received an award called the “Million Dollar Club” for reaching over 2 million dollars in sales with the company.

2013 proved to be a large stepping stone for my career. After 9 years of working for California Closets and learning the trade/industry, I took a “leap of faith” and joined Eva as her design associate.

My upbringing in AL plays a vital role in who I am today. My grandfather and grandmother owned and operated one of the largest and most successful printing companies in the Southeast. I was taught from an early age the importance of work ethic, determination, and dedication to a career. But the one thing I was taught and considered to me to be most important is family. My family and friends come first in life and this speaks for my In Design family. From Eva, and Ana to contractors and vendors, these people are more than business associates… they are my family. And throughout working with each and every client, they become a part of this circle as well.

I tend to think I’m a detail oriented person and I pay close attention to what the client has to say. Likes, dislikes, passions, colors, organization… it’s all in the details. I always say “I am here to facilitate great design and product knowledge but at the end of the day, it’s your space.” I believe that listening to a client’s ideas and then translating it on paper speaks volumes to as who we are as a team. And when clients are willing to adventure outside of their comfort zone, I will be along for the ride! I love attending trade shows and seeing the latest and greatest in product development. “Thinking outside of the box” is something I do best and when products can used in an unexpected way, this makes my heart smile!
