This master bedroom started from a conceptual photo pulled from a magazine. While the client liked the photo, she also let Interiors In Design have creative freedom with the materials. A color palette of white, silver, gray, and plum were used to create this sophisticated retreat. Dark gray on the walls juxtaposes the white lacquered ceiling. Pendants on each side of the bed cast beautiful and interesting shadows on the wall. The pendants hang over the client’s nightstands that were once in her childhood home in New York. The nightstands needed a bit of TLC so with the combination of local craftsmen to help us restore these beauties, we selected high gloss black paint as the main finish, a custom cut marble top, and sparkly handles to add just a touch of bling. The entire bedding ensemble including the custom headboard and frame to the rich velvet coverlet were the finishing touches to complete this retreat.
